The Vestavia Hills Theatre Department's performance of Antigone Now by Melissa Cooper was selected to represent the state of Alabama at the International Thespian Festival. We also had over 20 students qualify to compete at the International Thespian Festival. The International Thespian Festival is held at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. The approximate cost to attend is $1500 per student. It is a huge honor to represent the state of Alabama at this festival. Our total cost for the student is 36,000. The students have already raised $4,800 towards their cost of attendance.
